Overview

This is a new abridged Student edition of Australian Constitutional Law and Theory. The authors, Tony Blackshield and George Williams, have thoroughly revised, updated and restructured the work. Some chapters have been extensively rewritten in response to feedback, such as those dealing with the executive and characterisation. This new abridged edition of 800 pages is being published in response to comments that a 1,500 page book is too long for some one-semester courses. It is identical to the standard 4th edition, chapter numbers and page numbers are the same in each volume. However certain chapters have been omitted from the Abrigded edition. Go to this link for details on our Standard 4th edition. Both the Abridged 4th edition and Standard 4th edition volumes are identical ie chapter numbers and page numbers are the same in each volume. However certain chapters have been omitted from the Abrigded edition
